Mission Statement: 

Our mission at W.O.Lance Elementary School is to foster lifelong learning, enhancing character developnemt within each child as we prepare him or her for the future. Together, teachers, parents, and the community can accomplish this in a nurturing and positive environment in which each child is a valued individual with unique physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.

 Our Beliefs are:

- All Students can learn.

- Students can learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process.

- Students learn in different ways and should be provided with a variety of instructional approaches to support their learning.

- Communication is a key factor in making sure that all staff, students, parents, and the community are aware of what is happening in our school.

- All teachers, students, families and the community should work together to ensure that the instruction at W.O.Lance Elementary School is at its highest level.

- A safe and physical comfortable environment promotes student learning.
